• What is Whois used for?

  Whois service allows you to see information about a specific network resource, find out if the domain name is available or not, its ownership (owner), and age, including sites or registrars.

• How to use a domain check service?

  The check is performed simply online on the Proxy-Store. It is enough to enter the Domain or IP and wait for the analysis results. All information is available on the site.

• What is verified using the Whois protocol?

  The service collects data about the target resource by domain. This information contains how long ago the domain name was registered and the expiration date, the list of current DNS, the creator organization, and the current owner.

• How to find out where and when the domain was registered?

  All information can be obtained through Whois. The Created (Date) fields indicate the date of entering the register. Typically, the Registrant Country column displays a Domain's belonging to a certain domain zone, which makes it possible to find out the country of registration. For example, SU, .com, Net, etc.

• How to find information about Domain?

  The basic functionality of Whois does not allow determined by site hosting. The protocol checks the registrars, dates, and some general information, for example, DNS. It is highly likely that the domain and hosting are located at different providers. In rare cases, sites are owned by registrars providing, moreover, Hosting services. This is the key reason why Whois does not give such information. However, hosting data can be available through Whois History. It all depends on the decision of the registrar.
